“Worry is a prayer”. What are you playing on repeat?

Our minds are powerful — but left unchecked, they can become our biggest source of fear and overwhelm.

Here’s the thing: Your brain is wired to scan for danger. It’s part of our survival system, constantly on alert for what could go wrong. This is why it feels so natural to focus on problems, worst-case scenarios, and everything that’s lacking. It’s called Negativity Bias, and it’s simply your brain doing its job… if you let it run the show.

But as conscious humans, we have a responsibility — to ourselves — to take back control of that narrative.

When life feels stressful or uncertain (which, in this crazy world, it often does), negative thoughts can dominate. It’s in these moments that we need to create space in our minds to notice what’s still good. To remember what’s working. To appreciate who shows up for us and to see the abundance we already have.

So how do we do that?
We start by becoming aware of that inner critical voice — you know, the taskmaster that believes bullying you will somehow motivate you. The moment you notice it, interrupt it. Literally stop the thought mid-sentence. Then, choose a new one. One that serves you.

➤ I am safe.
➤ I am enough.
➤ Things are always working out for me.

Pick a simple, empowering statement and put it on repeat in your head. As soon as you find yourself dooming-thinking, replace it with your mantra. Yes, it will feel uncomfortable at first. Your subconscious will try to convince you it’s pointless. But this is how you rewire your mind — through choice, awareness, and daily practice.

It’s not easy, but it is powerful.
You choose what plays on repeat.
So, what are you programming your mind with today?
