Let go of regret & set yourself free
How often do you catch yourself replaying past mistakes over and over in your head?
The things you should have done differently... the words you shouldn’t have said… the opportunities you think you missed.
Regret is heavy. Very heavy.
It pulls us out of the present moment and anchors us to a version of ourselves we’ve already outgrown. Yet, so many of us live in a cycle of mentally re-living the past, as if punishing ourselves will somehow change it.
Here’s the truth — regret drains your energy. Every time you revisit it, you’re feeding a story that no longer serves you. And that low, heavy energy? It only attracts more of the same emotions into your life: frustration, shame, and “stuckness”.
Freedom comes with awareness, and when you choose to break that cycle.
Not by pretending the past didn’t happen — but by accepting that you did the best you could with who you were and what you knew at the time.
Peace isn’t found by rewriting the past. It’s found by releasing it.
Journal prompt:
What regret have I been holding onto — and how would it feel to finally set it down?
Let your imagination flow here, don’t stick to reality, dream as big and fully as possible – what if you could set the regret down, how would your life change?
If you're ready to let go of what's weighing you down and start creating a future you're excited about, I’d love to support you.
Work with me and let’s take that next step together — lighter, freer, and fully present.
